who perpetuate traditions and bring joy !
Our mission? Reduce the waste generated both in production and consumption.
We apply the concept of circular economy by rescuing fabrics that would otherwise have ended up in waste.
Every day, we work to ensure that Next Chance's activities most faithfully represent its values.
It is important for us to develop ideas and relationships with partners who are conscientious, committed and passionate.
We believe that collective effort makes a real difference.
It's all about borrowing the fewest new resources from the Earth while generating the least amount of waste, to use resources and produce locally.
For smarter use
It's about finding solutions to challenges which are too polluting and which could be less so. It's to find alternatives to single-use items that promote reuse and local purchase!
Next Chance was founded in February 2020 by two entrepreneurs who always wanted to make a difference in terms of the environment.
It all started when Maude, one of the two founders, realized how polluting gift wrapping made of metallized and plasticized paper was. After researching for sustainable alternatives, she realized that few options matched traditional gift wrapping. Gabrielle and Maude then challenged themselves to create a solution that would really make a difference. And the answer was found in the mission for which they have worked ever since: to offer Quebec gift wrappings made of rescued fabric.

Our creations : the Vice-VersaKIT and the reusable bow made from rescued fabric
We were inspired by the Japanese folding technique called furoshiki. We worked on a concept that kept the “gift unwrapping” magic alive, and one thing was for sure, the bow had to be the superstar!
From there was born the Vice-VersaKIT, our original set of eco-friendly gift wrapping!
