1) The Elegant Fan

1. Fold the napkin in half to form a rectangle.

2. Accordion-fold it along its entire length.

3. Fold the accordion in half, with the point facing upward.

4. Tuck the base into a ring or a glass to hold it in place.

5. Gently open the folds to create the fan.

Tip: Place the fan in the plate for an instantly chic look on your table runner.

2) The Cutlery Pocket

1. Fold the napkin in half (rectangle), then in half again (square).

2. Place the open corner facing you, with the point at the top.

3. Fold the first layer of the top corner downward, diagonally.

4. Fold the second layer slightly lower, then the third a little lower again (creating a “step” effect).

5. Turn the napkin over and fold the sides toward the center to close.

6. Turn it over again: slide in the knife, fork, and spoon.

Tip: Slip a small menu card into the pocket for an even more polished dinner.

3) The Bow Tie

1. Fold the napkin into a strip (parallel folds across the width).
2. Pinch the center with your fingers.
3. Wrap the ribbon around the center and tie it at the back.
4. Gently spread the “wings” of the bow to give it volume.
5. Place it in the plate or on the glass.
Tip: A fabric bow in the center can replace the ribbon and add a little extra flair.

4) The Rose

1. Fold the napkin into a triangle.
2. Roll the base of the triangle toward the point (you will get a long strip).
3. Wrap the strip around two fingers to form the “flower.”
4. Tuck the remaining small point under the base to hold everything in place.
5. Gently spread the edges to “open” the rose.
Tip: Place your rose on a tablecloth in a matching tone for a romantic look.

5) The Christmas Tree

1. Fold the napkin into four (overlapping layers), with the open corner facing you.
2. Fold each layer upward, in a staggered fashion, without completely aligning the points.
3. Turn the napkin over and fold both sides toward the center.
4. Turn it over again: fold each point upward underneath the one above it to form the “branches.”
5. Adjust the base so that it stands securely.
Tip: Add a long bow to the top for a guaranteed Christmas tree effect.
Putting the finishing touch on a festive table setting only takes a few minutes with your folded napkins. Whether it’s a birthday dinner, a chic reception, or a Christmas meal, these little details create an unforgettable atmosphere.
