About Us

Our Mission

Next Chance gives a second life to rejected textiles by creatively transforming them into reusable gift wraps and home objects.

Our Story

Maude and I met during our studies in finance. We are a couple in real life and have always wanted to start a project that would make a difference.

In 2020, Next Chance was born from a realization that struck us: 540,000 tons of wrapping paper end up in the trash every year in Canada.

It made us want to create reusable fabric packaging.

It is on the way that we discovered an even bigger problem: textile waste. More than 12% of the world's fabric production is thrown away without ever being used.

We knew we could act.

Our Vision

Create a world where every material has the right to a second life.

Our Values

At Next Chance, being a responsible citizen is crucial for us. Since our beginnings, we have taken on our responsibility to rethink the ways of doing in our industry to build a business model based on the principles of sustainable development and the circular economy.

Our collections are designed to inspire pleasure and create memorable memories.

The change at Next Chance is festive. We celebrate every additional rescued meter of fabric, and this has been the case since our founding in 2020.

Next Chance invites to a more conscious but accessible lifestyle. Simplicity is found in the intuitive solutions we offer that facilitate the transition to more responsible consumption.

Impact

A concrete mission. A committed team. An exciting impact.

« 540,000 tons of gift packaging are thrown away each year by Canadians.

That represents 100,000 elephants.

It is with this observation that we launched Next Chance. »
